Content Management Systems

We work with OpenCms – a sophisticated content management system that will enable you to make content updates yourself. This system features an integrated “what you see is what you get” editor similar to using MS Word. Users are able to update text content, upload images and use update forms for pages with frequent changes (news, blog articles, calendar entries etc). Please tour our OpenCms tour.

Content Editing

Writing web content can be an arduous task! As an optional feature, we can send your text off to a content editor who will translate it into beautiful, customer-relevant content. Content editing is quoted separately on a per project basis – ranging from “light” editing to major re-writes, depending on your project needs.

Monitor Progress

During development, you will be able to monitor the website progress on a temporary “hidden” domain. Here you can test all interactive components, preview pages, trial special features and send feedback for review.

Website Statistics

Once the website is live, we set up a weekly, monthly or quarterly report on your website statistics – this includes detailed data on the number of visitors (new and returning), the number of pageviews, the geographical location of visitors, keywords used to locate your site, and so on. We will consult with you on how to interpret results.

Web and Email Hosting

We offer a variety of hosting packages to suit your needs - these start from R90 / month for standard  HTML websites and R150 / month for OpenCms websites. Our services include email hosting and are fully scalable, supporting large-scale enterprise websites.

Our servers are internationally hosted for greater speed and reliability, housed in state-of-the-art datacenters and monitored for speed and stability 24/7 (more info here).

Maintenance

Once the website has been launched, we are available for periodic updates and changes to the website. Maintenance is charged at our going hourly rate and typically invoiced every 6 months. If your website is built with a content management system, you will be able to make content updates yourself.
