How it works
| The brochure design process typically follows these steps: | |
|---|---|
1. BriefingOnce the project has been accepted, we recommend an in-depth briefing meeting to discuss the design objectives for the project – the purpose of the print materials, the target audience, as well as your current branding. We also discuss the flow of content from page to page. 2. Content Compilation and Content EditingBefore we start with concrete design, the brochure text needs to be finalized. You can either send us the text content in final, proofed format, or have it edited by our professional copywriter. Content editing is quoted as a separate optional component depending on the amount of text content. 3. DesignOnce the brochure text has been finalized, we start with design! We typically present a 3-4 page "mood board" that acts as a style guide for the rest of the brochure. This is then refined and finalized based on your input. Once the mood board is approved, we go ahead with the design of the remaining pages. Depending on the project needs, we can source suitable stock photography from local and international image banks, or hire the services of a professional photographer. 4. Final ProofOnce the brochure design is finalized, we send a digital copy to you for final proof reading and content checking. Minor adjustments may be made at this stage. 5. Print Management and DeliveryAs soon as the brochure has been proofed and signed off, we start with print management. The artwork is sent off to a professional printer, colour proofed and mass produced. Print production may take 5-7 business days (or more), depending on the project needs. Once completed, the final product is delivered to you! |
